How the tool works
Add two or more PDFs, arrange them in the required order, choose the output name, and merge them. Every operation runs locally in the browser.
Supported input and output
The tool accepts standard unencrypted PDF files up to 100 MB each and produces one PDF containing every source page in the displayed order.
Practical example
Place a cover PDF first, a report second, and an appendix last, then download one document ready to share.
Common use cases
Combine scanned sections, invoices, reports, contracts, portfolios, application documents, or chapters prepared as separate files.
Limits and important checks
Password-protected, corrupted, unsupported, or exceptionally large PDFs may not open. Bookmarks, interactive forms, and advanced document structures can vary between source files, so review the result.
Privacy and local processing
Unless the tool explicitly identifies an external lookup, input and generated output are processed in your browser and are not uploaded to CosmoTools. Avoid placing secrets in any web page and review downloaded results before using them in production.
Frequently asked questions
Are my PDF files uploaded?
No. The files are read and combined locally in your browser and are never sent to CosmoTools.
Can I change the order before merging?
Yes. Drag the documents or use the arrow buttons to place them in the required order.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
Not in this version. Remove the password with authorization before using the merge tool.
