How the tool works
Upload a panoramic image, choose 2 to 10 slides and a square or portrait format, then choose whether to crop the strip or preserve the whole image with colored borders. One shared composition is split into adjacent slides with matching edges.
Supported input and output
Open and export JPEG, PNG, or WebP. Square slides are 1080 × 1080 and portrait slides are 1080 × 1350. Every file in one carousel has identical dimensions and a numbered filename.
Practical example
Four portrait slides form a logical 4320 × 1350 strip. The browser calculates each 1080-pixel region directly, so slide 2 begins at the exact point where slide 1 ends.
Common use cases
Share panoramas, continuous illustrations, before-and-after sequences, timelines, tutorials, infographics, and campaign narratives that encourage viewers to swipe.
Limits and important checks
Very narrow or low-resolution sources may require enlargement. Keep important content away from cut lines and select generated slides in numeric order when creating the post.
Privacy and local processing
Unless the tool explicitly identifies an external lookup, input and generated output are processed in your browser and are not uploaded to CosmoTools. Avoid placing secrets in any web page and review downloaded results before using them in production.
Frequently asked questions
How many carousel slides can I create?
Choose from 2 to 10 slides in square 1:1 or portrait 4:5 format.
Will there be gaps between slides?
No. Every slide uses an adjacent region from one continuous image transformation, so boundaries match exactly.
Which slide should I upload first?
Upload the generated slides in numeric order, beginning with 01.
